The Legal Mentor of the Year Award recognises somebody who gives time and experience to help others build careers in law.
The judges look for the progress of those they support.
Eligibility
Open to legal professionals who mentor others, based in or serving the region. Self-nominations and nominations made by others are both welcome.
Judging criteria
- Entries are judged on mentoring given
- Progress of mentees
- Their testimony and contribution to the profession
Qualitative criteria
- What they set out to achieve, and why it mattered
- How they work with others
- What clients and colleagues say about them
Metrics
- Results delivered this year
- Clients or people helped
- Recognition already received
Additional criteria
Include examples of the work, the results in figures where possible and a word from a client or colleague.
